Warrior Children

Your heart is deeper than the ocean
And wider than the big blue sky
Your mercy abounds in great measure
Your justice is fair
Your throbbing heart shakes the heavens
It’s pulsing thunders over the earth
Exploding with passion it shakes
It quakes and it desires
Depth of love
Depth of grace
Soothing fears
Washing tears
Purity lingers within every corner
You are a God of absolutes
Absolute truth
Absolute justice
Absolute love
Absolute grace
Absolute redemption
And you are seeking a people
A people who will revel in the beauty of your heart
Who would hold your banner high
And not be ashamed
Who would raise their voices in worship
And not be ashamed
Who would raise their voices in worship
Who would give their lives as praise
Poured out on your love alter
A resurrected warrior people
Whose swords glisten under the Son
Whose eyes demand justice
As they stand firm
As they rout out their enemies
Tearing down and building up strongholds
They scream their battle cry
And the ungodly fear and respect them
They scream their warrior song
And the Almighty protects them
They are warriors drenched in cleansing blood.
And their heart beats in time with the Father’s
Their blood pulses, pushes,
Bursts forth within their veins
Duplicating the Fathers passion
They are one with him
His feet through the nations
His purposed hands through out the earth
They hear his softest whisper
They fear his warrior shout
With reverent fear they enter battle
His authority backs them up
They are his own
Warrior children
Of a Warrior God.
